Mr. Doug Farr has to be one of the coolest band teachers in the world. He puts so much time into band and choir, more than any other teacher out there. Not only does he teach High School Band and Choir, he also teaches private lessons and he has them almost every day.

When Band Camp comes around he doesn't waste time he makes sure he knows where every one is and what their doing every minute of every day. He gives the band their music, writes the flag team routine, and co-ordinates the drill team. He even writes the field show!

Mr Farr has been at PVHS since 2003. He got his music degree from the University of Utah. Anything that has to do with music in Pahrump he is there and happy to do it. He has studied music since the age of 5 when he started to play drums and piano, and probably gave his mom and dad a headache every day, but now his kids are giving him a headache. Since he started teaching at PVHS he has had more and more students get interested in Band and Choir. He just has that kind of power.
